Tim Daly participated in Ancien Régime: the pre-revolutionary world in Fall 2018, and New Jersey & You - Perfect Together! in Fall 2017 at Village West.

A Jersey native, Daly has lived in Hoboken so long he remembers when the rent was cheap.

Inspired by representational painting of all kinds, photorealism, photography and photojournalism, he attended The School Visual Arts in Manhattan.

He found his main subject in the watery, industrial, scrappy landscape of the Hackensack Meadowlands where he worked at the USPS NYB+FMC. He happily took part in a successful "wildcat" strike there in 1976.

In 2000, Daly received a large painting commission from NJ Transit for the south mezzanine of the Secaucus Junction Rail Station. He made 32 paintings of NJ landscapes which are permanently installed there.

In 2008, Daly was co-chairman of the Neumann Leathers Tenants Association and helped to defeat a demolition plan by a very large national developer. The existing factory buildings will be preserved as industrial workspace in the City of Hoboken's Redevelopment Plan.

Daly is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829. He and his wife Sheilah Scully continue to live and work in Hoboken.
