Diana Schmertz participated in the Under the Influence show in Fall 2016 at Village West.
After completing her BFA from Purchase College at the age of 19, Diana Schmertz moved to Amsterdam, Holland as a recipient of De Ateliers 63 grant and residency program. In her early twenties she came back to New York, completed two Masters of Science and became an art educator.
Re-entering the artworld in her thirties, Schmertz has received many grants, participated in residencies throughout the US, Europe & Moscow, Russia, and exhibited internationally.
