Cassius: Why, man, he [Caesar] doth bestride the narrow world
Like a colossus, and we petty men
Walk under his huge legs, and peep about
To find ourselves dishonorable graves.
Men at some time are masters of their fates;
The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.
-- Julius Caesar, Act I, Scene 2
"In every moment of our lives we confront decisions. Major or minor, conscious or subconscious, these decisions determine the paths we take, the ladders we choose to ascend, and the depths to which we fall. Much of my work explores humanity's narrow line between the earth and the beyond. We are neither underlings nor gods, but are merely individuals (petty men) equipped with the capability to determine and alter our paths. Our fate is not in the stars, rather it evolves with each decision we make along the way."
