Future Shows

Winter/Spring 2019: Wherefore Art

Wherefore Art is a group show inspired by the all-encompassing imagination of William Shakespeare — the entirety of the human condition: love, hate, jealousy, comedy, tragedy, madness, murder, witches, fairies, shipwrecks!

Every entry to the show must be accompanied by a quotation from a Shakespearean play or sonnet.

This group show is part of The Big Read - a 6-week, city-wide series of programs and events around a single book. Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel is the selected book, and this group show reflects the importance of a troupe of actors performing Shakespeare in the plot of the novel.

The application for the Wherefore Art show is here.
