"The transition between Winter and Spring is a fragile time. The trees are still bare, but nature is beginning to thaw and the first colors emerge from the ground - fresh green, brilliant yellow, white.
For this painting I placed a glass of daffodils on a high window sill in the studio, way above reach, paying homage to the optimistic quality that Spring can evoke. We gaze upward and anticipate the arrival of the coming season in all its glory."
